SoBECA Blossoms in 2026

From across the county to across the country, more than twenty new small businesses will join LAB’s portfolio in Costa Mesa’s evolving SoBECA District in 2026. The most significant single year of openings for the South on Bristol Entertainment, Culture and Arts district in its history.

Just down Bristol Street from South Coast Plaza, the SoBECA District serves as home to many beloved destinations such as The LAB Anti-Mall, The CAMP, CAMPOUT, The SOLO Building, and PLANT, among others. The incoming mix of retail, dining, wellness, and other experiential concepts will further cement the SoBECA district’s decades-long reputation as one of Southern California’s most dynamic creative neighborhoods – and the center of cool in Orange County.

This 2026 expansion represents a significant reinvestment in the district’s founding principles: preserving character, elevating local businesses, and activating underutilized spaces through design-driven redevelopment.
